Die OSK Crew wurde 2008 von RIOT1394, GRIME und KOS.MASK in Österreich gegründet. Als RIOT1394 2010 nach Berlin zog, knüpfte er neue Freundschaften und die Crew wuchs rasant mit neuen Mitgliedern. Style Writing und Figuration sind die verbindende Elemente zwischen den Mitgliedern mit ihren ausgeprägten individuellen Stilen. Alle entwickelten ihre künstlerische Arbeit an Wänden sowie im Atelier auf Papier, Leinwand, Holz oder mit anderen Materialien weiter.
Diese erste OSK-Gruppenausstellung gibt einen kleinen Einblick in die vielfältigen Atelierarbeiten der sieben Mitglieder, die in Berlin wohnhaft sind: DANK erschafft seine jugendstilistischen figurativen Arbeiten meist digital für Druckgrafiken, DHOS, der vielseitige Tüftler, arbeitet mit verschiedenen Materialien und unterschiedlichen Bildsprachen, während GHOO131 seinen naiven, illustrativen, narrativen Stil auf Papier entwickelt. HOWTOKILLAGRAFFITI’ s expressive Graffmalerei mit Öl- und Sprühlack findet auf Leinwand oder mit Kohle auf Papier statt, während SKENAR73 seine abstrahierten Letter Styles in hochwertige skulpturale Objekte verwandelt. SONNE im Schacht malt seine obskuren Kreaturen sowohl auf Leinwand als auch als Tattoos, und RIOT1394 schafft fantasievolle Papierarbeiten und Leinwände in seinem unverkennbaren Comic basierenden Graffitistyle mit Sprühlack, Acryl und Markern.

OSK Crew was founded by RIOT1394, GRIME and KOS.MASK in 2008 in Austria. When
RIOT1394 moved to Berlin in 2010 he made new friends the crew grew rapidly with new members. Style writing and figuration are the connecting elements between the members with their distinct individual styles. All of them have developed their artistic work on walls and in the studio with works on paper, canvas, wood, or with other materials further. This first OSK group exhibition provides a small insight into the diverse studio work of their seven members living in Berlin: DANK creates his Art Nouveau-style figurative works mostly digitally for print graphics, while DHOS218, the versatile tinkerer, works with various materials and different visual languages, and GHOO131 develops his naive, illustrative, narrative style on paper. HOWTOKILLAGRAFFITI's expressive graffiti painting with oil and spray paint takes place on canvas or with charcoal on paper, while SKENAR73 transforms his abstracted letters into high-quality sculptural objects. SONNE im Schacht paints his obscure creatures both on canvas and as tattoos, and RIOT1394 creates imaginative works on paper and canvas in his distinctive comic-based graffiti style using spray paint, acrylics and markers.
