Alexandra Aquilina and Nessa Finnegan come together for the first time to present a collaborative exhibition, “Crush” at Retramp, Berlin. Their work explores slices of the complexities found within the clash of femininity and culture. "Crush" embodies two distinct meanings; a noun, representing the frivolity and innocence of youth and a verb, reflecting the devastatingly taxing aspects of womanhood. Through their art, both artists explore these dichotomies and create a thought-provoking dialogue on the various layers of the female experience.
