‘utterly fucking wonderful’ is a kinetic poetic universe as entertaining as it is informative, as funny it is moving - literally and emotionally - ‘utterly fucking wonderful takes you on a journey through books as you have never seen them before. a universe in which the reader must dance words across the page making them light up on the page, or disappear, or morph into new ones as they move through and within the paper they are embedded in. sometimes they are voice activated, and sometimes they speak for themselves - always they reveal more hidden depths, meanings, and metaphors, than simple words on a page can. ‘utterly fucking wonderful’ showcases gorjeoux moon’s latest installment of 'book shaped kinetic poetry sculptures' - conceptual concrete poems which the reader must haptically engage with in order to experience them and by doing so may explore what ‘book’ and ‘page’ can be and mean once one steps outside of conventional expectations of form.

gorjeoux moon (she/they) is a trans feminist poet, writer and transdisciplinary artist living and making art as authentically as possible in Berlin, Germany. She makes ‘book shaped kinetic poetry sculptures’ as well as writing poetry, spoken word, essays, music, and conceptual books, and she performs and exhibits various incarnations of them all. she makes art that combines exquisite craftspersonship, big concepts, meta metaphors, and deep emotionality that can - and should - be enjoyed upon multiple levels.
